2017 has arrived – we are just over 2 weeks in!. A new year is an exciting time for it ushers in hope, promise, and new beginnings. We leave behind the old and begin anew. Galvanized by a collective fresh start in 2017, I have compiled 12 scriptures, 1 for each month of the year, to motivate, inspire, and encourage us as we embark upon a new, and prayerfully transformative, journey in 2017.
January – II Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
February – Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)
Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and He will establish your plans
March – Isaiah 43:18-19 (NLT)
But forget all that – it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
April – Habakkuk 2:3 (NLT)
This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place.
May – Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)
For we are God’s masterpiece. He created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He has planned for us long ago
June – Ezra 10:4 (NLT)
Get up … be strong and take action
July – Philippians 1:6 (NLT)
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finished

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessings if we don’t give up
November – Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV)
Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus
December – Ephesians 4:1 (NLT)
Lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God
